Save Your Hair from Sweaty Workouts

We have all been there before, scheduling our days and workouts around washing our hair. It’s a chore. When short on time, we throw our hair into a dirty, messy bun. We may think ourselves lucky to be able to do a cute bun, especially now with a WFH lifestyle. But more often than not, the dirty, sweaty, smelly bun does us a disservice. A dirty scalp can cause irritation, itchiness and product build-up. Even worst, it can dry hair, cause breakage and stop hair growth. Clogged pores (yes we have pores in our scalp!) can prevent hair growth and even worse(!) a scalp fungus. So, while we’re short on time to wash our hair, we should not compromise on having a clean scalp and healthy roots.  Infused with tea tree, known for its anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties that remove odor, sweat and residue clogging hair follicles, Work It Off and Low Intensity hairsprays make great additions to your hair care. The hair sprays have been specially formulated with all-natural products that can be used on normal to dry hair and those with sensitivities.

Sweaty smelly hair after workouts.

While we no longer have to reschedule getting a good sweat to save our hair, our new workout routine does include a post workout stretch paired with 5-10 pumps of Work It Off. Sprayed directly on to our sweaty hair and emulsified by massaging with a bit of water, the hair spray does a great job in refreshing our hair and scalp. What’s even better is that we can actually style our hair and not have to go back to the dirty, messy bun.

Luckily, with Lacora hair products, we can stop scheduling our life around hair wash days and can count on more good hair days to come.

P.S. Just like us, no hair is the same, so it may take some time for your hair to be trained and get used to not being washed so often. If you've been washing your hair every day, start by washing it every other day and use Lacora spray or dry shampoo on your off days. After a couple of weeks, you'll start to notice a difference in the release of your natural hair oils. If comfortable, move on to wash your hair every third day. We know it's work, but you and your hair are worth it!
